Growing up in a single parent household, Brianna learned at a very young age the importance of balancing cost with nutrition. Ever since she was first learning her way around the kitchen,
Brianna loved sharing her experience to help those around her grow and learn. As she got older, her love of cooking expanded to a passion for painting and metal working. Her belief that being able to explore in an open environment without judgement is prominent in all of her classes!
Brooke has been a certified yoga teacher since February 2018 when she received her 200hr YTT. Her passion for dance, deep stretch, martial arts, and aerial arts all contribute to her classes in a way that empowers the individual and brings self awareness to her students.
Brooke has been an athlete all of her life and incorporates her love of movement and the importance of breathe into her classes. She has worked with all ages and is excited to help improve the lives of her students!
Celesteal’s first experience with yoga was a hot yoga class in high school, but that was a little too slippery. It wasn’t until she joined a meditation group, that she started to find herself and her breath. An officially certified yoga teacher, Celesteal hopes to provide space and guidance to others in order to help them follow their own practice and find connection to themselves, through breath and joyful movement. When she’s not in the studio, you may find her on a hike, a bike ride or daydreaming out the window.
Intro to Yoga
Instructors will introduce and teach students yoga poses suitable to their skill level and demonstrate other addition poses and variations for poses. Terminology and specific types of yoga will be discussed as well as going over a more in depth approach to the specific benefits of each movement. This course is designed to build a strong foundation for yoga by using anatomy and visual references. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
Our ground-based yoga series focuses on achieving balance within your life and reflecting on yourself and your physicality in the world. Students will be lead through a series of sun salutations to warm up before moving into a sequence created by the instructor.
Nechtan Studios cooking classes are a way for students of all ages to learn new skills in the kitchen. With an emphasis on eating healthy, balanced diets, we teach our students the basics of cooking for themselves no matter their income or dietary needs and restrictions. Each class uses one to two recipes as a guideline into trying new techniques and flavors. Students will be encouraged to try new foods and expand their horizons through the dishes they make.
Our Exploration through Art classes allow students to experiment with different mediums and techniques. Students will be encouraged to expand their perception and observation skills through hands on projects and group discussion. Projects and supplies vary between classes.
